Yogesh Joshi is a current graduate student at Wayne State University, Michigan working on the Fly model of Neurodegeneration. He looks at Mitophagy defects leading to innate immunity activation in neurons of fruit flies. He completed his Master’s degree from South Asian University, New Delhi and did his Bachelors in biotechnology major from Kathmandu University. He has been involved in bringing small grants in Nepal through different international organizations and runs a company named “Kasturi Ghar” in Nepal, which is focused on marketing indigenous products in Nepal. Previously, he has also been involved in multiple research and educational projects in RIBB and
Engage Science with Nepal.
