Ms. Rita Majhi is working as a research assistant at Research Institute for Bioscience and Biotechnology (RIBB) from June 2018. She graduated with a B.Tech Biotechnology from Kantipur Valley College (KVC). Her research thesis during undergraduate is “ Investigation of altitudinal effects on bioactivities of different medicinally important plants species of Nepal ”.
- Extraction of plants and bacterial DNA, PCR, and gel electrophoresis.
- Extraction of phytochemicals through different extraction methods.
- Characterization of bacteria and fungi using different biochemical tests.
