Ms. Rukusha Maharjan is working as a research assistant at Research Institute for Bioscience and Biotechnology (RIBB) from June 2018. She graduated with a B.Tech Biotechnology from Kantipur Valley College (KVC), Lalitpur. Her undergraduate research project was “ Identification of bioactive natural products from Streptomyces spp. isolated from different soil types of Kathmandu ”.
- Biochemically identification of various bacteria and fungi.
- Extraction and separation of bacterial DNA through gel electrophoresis and PCR.
- Characterization of bioactive compounds through TLC and Bio-TLC.
