Monima Karmacharya

Monima Karmacharya holds a bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from Kantipur Valley College, Purbanchal University. She is currently employed as a Research Assistant at RIBB from December 2023 in the Department of Applied Microbiology and Food Technology. Her research is focused on “Isolation and screening of Lactic Acid Bacteria from fermented foods and livestock milk”.  She is particularly interested in advancing her knowledge in food science, especially fermentation technology and foodborne pathogens. Furthermore, she is deeply intrigued by the field of microalgae technology.
