Master’s Thesis student

Ms. Jenny Shah is currently working at Research Institute for Bioscience and Biotechnology (RIBB) as a Research Student starting from September, 2019. She has received B.Sc. in Microbiology (2016) from Tri-Chandra College, Tribhuvan University (TU), Nepal and is currently studying M.Sc. in Biotechnology at National College, TU. She has keen interest in infectious disease control and antimicrobial stewardship. Her research is focused on antibiotic resistance bacteria present in the fruits and vegetables sold in Kathmandu valley and also the genes conferring resistance to antibiotics. This project is funded by the International Foundation of Science (IFS), Sweden. She has previously worked as an intern at Sukra Raj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital, Teku and Dairy Development Cooperation, Balaju, Nepal.
