Research Assistant
Introduction
Angisha Basnet is presently working at RIBB as a Research Assistant from September 1, 2019. She has received B.Tech in Biotechnology degree (2019) from Kantipur Valley College, Lalitpur, Nepal, affiliated to Purvanchal University. She is mostly interested to observe the variation in phytochemicals in medicinal plants from different altitudes of Nepal. Currently her research is focused on extraction of bioactive compounds from waste citrus fruit peels.
Previously she worked as a research intern at RIBB for six month on project “Guava leaves as natural preservatives for small holders farmers of Nepal”.
