Sabita Sedhai

Sabita has completed her Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology from Kathmandu University (KU) and is currently working as a Research Assistant in the Department of Applied Microbiology and Food Technology, Research Institute for Bioscience and Biotechnology (RIBB) since July 2025. Her research focuses on developing a home-brewed PCR master mix using highly thermophilic bacteria, reflecting her interest in molecular biology and applied biotechnology. She is particularly passionate about using molecular biology approaches, including PCR and genetic analysis, to study microbial systems and develop solutions for health and environmental challenges.
