Collaborative Projects (Kathmandu University)
RIBB is working closely with Department of Biotechnology at Kathmandu University (KU) and conducted one collaborative project under this collaboration. We are also taking undergrad and graduates students for internships and thesis from the university. Besides, the two parties have also organized different national and international conference and workshop together in different field of biotechnology inside country in the past.
Project Title: Optimization of bioethanol production from cheese whey using immobilized lactose assimilating yeast strains.
