The Research Institute for Bioscience and Biotechnology (RIBB) is a leading, non-profit academic research organization that aims to deliver insight, innovation, and leadership in today’s interdisciplinary and dynamic research environment. We have assembled a world class, scientific team that harnesses perspectives, approaches and techniques from multiple scientific disciplines and therapeutic areas to generate innovative solutions to challenging scientific problems.
Founded in 2011, RIBB serves as a focal point for graduate and undergraduate students, fellows, and associates pursuing research in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Genetics and Bioengineering, and Biomedical Sciences as well as Natural Therapeutics Discovery from natural product sources including bacteria, plants and other terrestrial sources. The Second International Conference on Bioscience and Biotechnology, 2018 (ICBB-2018) is being hosted in joint collaboration by the Research Institute for Bioscience and Biotechnology (RIBB) and the Institute for Molecular Medicine Finland (FIMM) from Feb 17th - 20th, 2018 in Dhulikhel, Nepal. The conference is co-organized by the Department of Biotechnology, Kathmandu University (KU), the Department of Biochemistry, the Institute of Medicine (IOM) and Dhulikhel Hospital. It is supported by Deerwalk Institute of Technology (DWIT), Center for Health Disease Studies – Nepal (CHDS), and Kathmandu Institute of Applied Sciences (KIAS). The conference is hosting 17 international speakers from Finland, Denmark, Sweden, South Korea, India and several local scientists.
